About WRVS 89.9 and W18BB-TV | Elizabeth City State University is the home to WRVS-FM/HD radio station and W18BB-D television station. WRVS 89.9 is the listener-supported, 55,000-watt radio service of ECSU serving northeastern North Carolina and Hampton Roads with NPR news, sports, gospel, jazz and urban music. W18BB is ECSU's low power digital television station available on Spectrum Cable Channel 20.
