IMPORTANT HEALTH COVERAGE TAX DOCUMENTSThe IRS has made changes to Form 1095-C reporting requirements. As a reminder, Form 1095-C is the form that reports your eligibility and enrollment in an employer-sponsored medical plan to the IRS. While the form is not required when filing your taxes, it would be required if you were ever audited. Beginning this year, if you would like to receive a copy of your Form 1095-C, you will need to make a formal request. You will no longer automatically receive a copy mailed to your home address. To request your 1095-C form, complete a 1095 Copy Request and Delivery Consent Form and send it to BSC Case System: https://uncsys.service-now.com/uba. Introducing your new Benefits Service Center!
ECSU staff and faculty will now receive benefits counseling and support through a new, centrally based Service Center serving universities across the UNC System. You will have easy access to the experienced Service Center staff, who will provide knowledgeable service and initial responses within one business day.
Service Center staff will offer counseling and support for all employee benefits except vacation and sick leave, community service leave, and voluntary shared leave, which will continue to be managed here on campus .
You will have easy access to Service Center staff via email, video meetings, opportunities for in-person meetings, phone calls, and fax, plus workshops, including open enrollment and retirement preparation.
